Provenance is a ladder, not a badge.

Anyone can say where a cargo came from. What a buyer, an auditor or a bank actually wants to know is how much of that claim is checkable, and by whom. There are four rungs, each earned by something specific. Find out which one your shipment would reach today, and what stands between you and the next.

Which tier would your shipment reach?

Provenance is not a badge you switch on. It is a ladder, and every rung is earned by something a buyer can check. Tick what is true of your shipment today. This runs the same rules the platform runs.

What is true today?

Self-declared

The record says what you say it says. Useful internally, but a buyer has only your word for it.

  1. Self-declared
  2. Tamper-evident
  3. Corroborated
  4. Independently Verified

To climb further

  • Tamper-evident: Seal the passport
  • Corroborated: Complete KYB or register an LEI for the issuing organization
  • Corroborated: Resolve the sanctions flag on the issuing organization
  • Corroborated: Resolve sanctions flag on: a party in your chain
  • Independently Verified: Have an independent counterparty co-attest a custody event
  • Independently Verified: Attach the required OECD/LBMA evidence

Build the record that earns the tier

A SourceProof passport holds the custody chain, the evidence behind each step, and the seal that makes it tamper-evident. Buyers check the tier on a public link, with no login.

The tier is derived by the platform, never set by the issuer. A passport cannot claim a rung it has not earned.
