What this check does not tell you
A name against a list is the start of diligence, not the whole of it. The questions this page cannot answer are the ones that usually matter:
Who actually owns the company?
Most sanctions exposure sits behind a company rather than on it. Counterparty Due Diligence identifies the beneficial owners, screens each one, and applies the 50% rule that makes an unlisted company blocked.
Is there adverse media or a leak record?

Can you prove you checked?
